成年視覺障礙者收看電視行為之調查研究

摘要

本研究旨在探討臺灣地區成年視覺障礙者收看電視的行為，以年齡滿18歲以上之成年視覺障礙者為調查對象，以自編的「成年視覺障礙者收看電視行為之調查問卷」為研究工具，採電訪、面訪、紙本問卷、網路問卷等方式進行資料蒐集；共取得315份有效問卷進行統計分析。本研究重要發現如下：1.在收看電視習慣上，成年視覺障礙者，在平日與假日收看電視的時數以2小時以內為主，其中，在假日收看電視超過4小時的人比平日多；在收看電視時段以晚上18：00~24：00為主。2.在收看電視習慣上，低視力有七成五的人表示收看電視的時候不會使用視覺輔具；對於有使用視覺輔具的人來說，眼鏡是收看電視主要的視覺輔具；對於沒有使用視覺輔具的人來說，主要理由有三點：收看電視還夠清楚、使用後也不清楚與找不到合適視覺輔具。3.在電視節目瞭解程度上，成年視覺障者在角色、對話、場景、音效等層面，表示是容易瞭解和部分瞭解的；相反，在畫面及語言層面，表示是難以瞭解和部分瞭解的。4.在電視軟硬體設備使用上，成年視覺障礙者使用的電視以20~31吋的人最多，主要的節目來源以有線電視為主；在電視相關設備使用上，以都沒有使用相關設備和使用影片播放器為主。5.成年視覺障礙者在電視遙控器操作上，主要以觸摸的方式進行操作，但只有不到一半的人表示可以每次都正確操作電視遙控器。根據本研究的研究發現與結論，提出對成年視覺障礙者、政府和進一步研究的建議。

This study aimed to explore the television (TV) watching behaviors by adults with visual impairments (VI) in Taiwan. Participants were 315 adults with VI aged 18 and older chosen around Taiwan. Data collecting methods were telephone interview, face to face interview, online and written questionnaires. Major findings of this study were as follow: 1.Most of adults with VI watching the TV habit, the number of hours for watching TV on weekdays and holidays was two hours or less dominated, and during the holidays people watching TV over 4 hours more than usual. 2.Regarding the TV watching habit, 75% of low vision indicated that watching TV did not use visual aids; Main visual aids used were glasses. Reasons for not using visual aids were identified. 3.With respect to television program watched on the level of understanding, adults with VI thought roles played, dialogue, scene, sound and other aspects in the level from easy to understand to somewhat understanding; in contrast, the screen and the language level, which were in the level of difficult to somewhat understanding 4.Regarding television equipment, most of adult with VI used 20 ~ 31 inches TV, cable TV; the related equipment helpful for watching TV, 5.Regarding TV remote control operation, most of adult with VI operated remote control by touch. However, less than half of people indicated remote control can operate correctly every time. 6.Differences between demographic variables of VI in relation to their TV watching behaviors were also found.
