The abstract is to the server industry has a new business model named "White box ", White box business model is more closed to the market and can obtain first-hand information no need to get from brand and agency. The gross margin will be higher than the original OEM/ODM gotten, and the most attractive is high potential opportunity from the white box business module. This paper is used case study method to explore the Taiwan server industry. Beside Taiwan server industry have capability to design and product goods, how the OEM/ODM business model can be transferred to the white box suppliers business model. Firstly, Taiwan server industry, then analysis how the industry can be transferred into the White box base on " Resource-Based View ", "Value chain", "SWOT", "business model" theory, and finally compare the business model of transferred to the white box . At the same time we expect the results of this paper can be used for Taiwan server industry for future policy and business model setup.
