聽覺障礙青少年文化認同與社會適應之研究

本研究探討聽覺障礙青少年文化認同表現與社會適應情形,以自編量表調查全國中等教育階段828位聽覺障礙學生,採分層比率隨機抽樣方式進行資料收集,有效量表共674份,量表回收率為81.40%,用描述性統計與單因子變異數分析進行資料處理與分析。聽覺障礙青少年其文化認同以雙認同者最多,其次為認同聽人文化,以認同聾文化者最少。不同文化認同形式之聽覺障礙青少年在社會適應情形之不同層面有不同的表現,雙文化認同之聽覺障礙青少年在社會適應之表現優於聽常文化認同者,且在師生關係、同儕關係、學習狀況與自我效能之分量表,亦有相同的情形。而在情緒反應分量表,則是聽常文化認同之聽覺障礙青少年與雙文化認同之聽覺障礙青少年表現優於聾文化認同之聽覺障礙青少年。建議教學實務工作者針對聽人文化與聾人文化的認識進行課程設計,以減少情緒方面的困擾。亦建議教育主管機關將聽人文化與聾人文化納入正式課程規劃中,全方位的整合課程與教學,以收取良好的成效。對未來研究的建議,研究者可針對不同教育安置的聽覺障礙青少年其文化認同與情緒反應之相關研究,進一步釐清文化認同對情緒反應的具體影響。

The purpose of the research was to investigate the relationship of culture identity and social adjustment of adolescent students with hearing impaired. A self-designed scale was developed and used to survey on 828 adolescent students with hearing impaired of secondary education school in Taiwan. There were 674 valid scales that stand for 81.40% response rate. The collected data have been processed and analyzed through descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. The findings were summarized as follows: The most of adolescent students with hearing impaired were with bilateral culture identity attitude. There were significant differences between bilateral culture identity and hearing culture identity on the social adjustment scales but not on the emotion reaction subscale. The tendency of the culture identity of adolescent students with hearing impaired were toward culturally bilateral, who had better social adjustment than hearing cultural identity. Based on the findings, suggestions were provided in this study as reference for the teachers and the educational administrative authorities and further study.
