Study on Culture and Application of the Taiwan Native Plants of ＂Peperomia japonica＂

As to ＂Peperomia japonica＂ Makino, the survival rate of cuttage could reach 100%. The base of stalk is better for cutting. The requirement for cuttage media is not so critical in this case. For horticultural application, 3-5 inches of miniature potplant is more suitable. It takes approx. 3-4 months to complete a pot. Light fertilizer (N:P_2O_5:K_2O=1.05:0.90:1.05) is adequate for potplant fertilizing management.
