發展性繪本書目療法與兒童之心理健康

Developmental Bibliotherapy with Picture Books and Children's Mental Health

摘要


適當的圖書資訊資源如繪本等,具有增進知識、愉悅身心以及情緒療癒等功能。愛此,父母與師長可為兒童選擇具情緒療癒效用之繪本,透過療癒閱讀緩解日常生活甚或遭逢重大災難時所累積的情緒壓力,並解決個人情緒困擾問題,此即為「發展,性繪本書目療法」理念之運用。有鑑於圖書館界對於此議題仍不甚熟悉,故本文首先闡述繪本書目療法之意涵與基本概念,繼而敘述發展性繪本書目療法於2008年「送兒童情緒療癒繪本到四川」及2009年「送兒童情緒療癒繪本到八八水災區」兩項專案活動中之運用,並列舉七本情緒療癒繪本示例。期冀藉由本文能讓同道了解,發展性繪本書目療法在兒童心理健康促進上之作用,以達拋磚引玉之效。

Picture books or other appropriate reading materials can not only help people accumulate knowledge and entertain the readers, but also release the negative emotions of people in need. Therefore, parents and teachers can choose right picture books for their children. Through the reading, children may soothe negative emotions caused by daily life pressure or natural disasters, and deal with their emotional disturbance problems. This is an application of the concept of "developmental bibliotherapy with picture book". Because developmental bibliotherapy has not yet been a well-known issue in Taiwan, in this article, the definition of developmental bibliotherapy will be explained. Further, two campaigns based on developmental bibliotherapy as well as seven examples of emotional healing picture books will be introduced. By this means, this article aims to promote developmental bibliotherapy with picture books as an appropriate tool to improve the mental health of children.
