摘要

閱讀力就是國力。閱讀活動應該有完整的規劃，才能達到提振風氣的效果。圖書館具備閱讀的資源和空間，也擁有專業的能力，理應在閱讀活動的推廣上扮演重要的角色。本文首先探討閱讀的動機、影響閱讀行為的因素；其次分別比較《天下雜誌》的「仝氏閱讀大調查」、2007遠見雜誌閱讀大調查、《遠見雜誌》的120106臺灣閱讀大調查」、教育部2009年「國人閱讀力與公共圖書館」調查、教育部2011年臺間地區國人閱讀及使用公共圖書館習慣調查等有關國人閱讀的調查，最後介紹中國大陸仝國國民閱讀調查，期歸納重要結論，提出建議，供相關單位採擇實施。

The importance of reading in a nation's development cannot be overlooked. Reading activities should have a complete plan, in order to achieve the effects of the reading promotion. The libraries have reading resources and space, as well as the professional ability to play an important role in the promotion of reading activities. This paper first examined the motives and the factors affect reading behavior; Then compared several important reading surveys from the perspectives of reading habits and the use of public libraries. Finally introduced the National Reading Research Survey of Mainland China. and concluded with useful recommendations for future consideration.
