Numerous studies in the past had found that relevance does have between leadership style and organization climate. Then does the similar results can be obtained in the library field? This paper aims to explore the significance and theoretical foundation of the directors' leadership style and the organization climate of university libraries in Taiwan, and tries to analyze the internal and foreign related researches. The study firstly explored the roles and function of university libraries and library directors, then the meaning, theories and related researches of leadership style and the organization climate. Finally, the author attempts to investigate the feasibility of the implementation of the related studies in the university libraries in Taiwan.
