Literature Review and the Research Prospect on Logistics Industry Cluster Formation in China

Logistics Cluster has become one highlight cared about by many sectors in China. The purpose of the paper is to systematically generalize and comb through the research findings already existed, furthermore, to infer and predict the research trends about the topic in the future. Firstly, it summarizes the motivation, conditions and mechanism of the formation of Logistic Cluster. Secondly, makes a review of the construction and development of the Logistics Park as well as the formation research based on symbiosis theory. And the article presents the current reality about the research of China Logistics Cluster's formation and the ranges of the topic study. In accordance with the above theoretical analysis and the present developments of China Logistics Cluster, it puts forward 3 main trends of the research in the Logistics Cluster formation and 5 research fields in future. It is helpful for modern logistics industry and regional economy development and the related-parties decision-making which is of benefit to construct the relationships between the logistics enterprises and government as well as other industrial enterprises or institutions.
