摘要
Olanzapine乃一非典型抗精神異常藥物，美國食品藥物管理局 (FDA)通過可用來治療精神異常疾病，因同時能抑制許多神經傳導物的途徑，包括阻斷血清素、多巴胺、α1腎上腺素、抗組織胺、蕈毒鹼等接受器作用，故可減少噁心和嘔吐的發生。最近很多研究報告，在預防化學治療藥物引起的噁心和嘔吐的標準藥方中，加入olanzapine可得到很好的效果，且價格便宜，日後應會對此藥做更多的研究。

Olanzapine is an atypical antipsychotic drug that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of psychotic disorders. It inhibits neurotransmitter pathways known to be involved in nausea and vomiting serotonergic, dopaminergic, alpha-1 adrenergic, histaminic, and muscarinic receptors. In recent trials, the addition of oral olanzapine to standard therapy can reduce the frequency of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, and also improves the quality of life of patients receiving highly or moderately emetogenic chemotherapy. Olanzapine is inexpensive, and has a strong antiemetic effect.
