Stability, Oscillatory Modes, Bifurcations, and Chaotic Behavior of Complex Systems with Phase Control

This paper deals with the problem of nonlinear dynamics of complex system with phase control combining phase-locked loop and automatic gain control loop. The behavior of the examined system is described by nonlinear two- and fourdimensional sets of differential equations with periodical nonlinearities. Stability of synchronous mode, bifurcations determining boundaries of domain with quality different behavior of the considered system, and oscillatory modes arising in domain where synchronous mode is unstable are studied. Results are presented using two-parameter bifurcation diagrams, phase portraits of attractors, time realizations of oscillations, and Poincare maps.
