評估「活綠善膠囊」之不易形成體脂肪功能

摘要

本試驗目的在探討健康美麗股份有限公司所提供之試驗物質「活綠善膠囊」對於不易形成體脂肪保健功效之調節作用。本試驗共設置5組試驗組，分別為正常對照組、肥胖對照組、1倍、2倍及5倍劑量組，每組各使用12隻雄性Sprague-Dawley品系大鼠進行試驗。3組劑量組試驗物質投予劑量分別為186mg/kg B.W.、372mg/kg B.W.及930mg/kg B.W.。試驗期間，連續8週以高油脂飼料餵食肥胖對照組、1倍、2倍及5倍劑量組大鼠，以誘發其肥胖症狀，同時每日以管餵方式投予試驗物質以評估其是否具有降低體脂肪生成之功效。由試驗結果指出，1倍、2倍及5倍劑量組大鼠經投予試驗物質後，於試驗結束時其總增重量分別較肥胖對照組減少10.3%、15.2%及16.7%。體脂肪分析結果顯示，3組劑量組大鼠之體脂肪量及脂肪乾重比率相較於肥胖對照組均呈現明顯降低之情形（p＜0.05）。此外，投予本試驗物質對於3組劑量組大鼠之攝食量、肝腎功能、血液電解質濃度及血糖均無不良影響。總結以上試驗結果，在本試驗條件下「活綠善膠囊」顯示具有不易形成體脂肪之功效。

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the regulatory property of ＂GreenSlim Capsule＂ in reducing to the body fat formation in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. The 8-week-old male SD rats were randomly divided into five groups, and there were (i) normal control group, (ii) obese control group, (iii) low-dose group (1-fold dosage, 186 mg/kg B.W.), (iv) middle-dose group (2-fold dosage, 372 mg/kg B.W.), and (v) high-dose group (5-fold dosage, 930 mg/kg B. W.), respectively. The obese control group and three test groups were fed with high fat diet to induce symptoms of obesity, and test groups were daily fed with the test article. After 8 weeks administration, the weight gain, feed efficiency, fat mass, plasma biochemical markers, the triacylglycerol and cholesterol content of liver, and total body crude fat ratio were evaluated. Results indicated that the weight gain of three test groups were respectively reduced 10.3%, 15.2% and 16.7%, compared to obese control group. Body fat analysis showed that the fat mass and total body crude fat ratio of test groups were significantly lower than obese control groups (p ＜ 0.05). In addition, test article as a diet supplement didn't have adverse effects on liver function, kidney function, blood-glucose and electrolyte concentration. In summary, under the conditions designed for this study, we found that ＂GreenSlim Capsule capsule＂ was associated with significant reduction of total weight gain, fat mass and total body crude fat ratio. These results suggested that ＂GreenSlim Capsule＂ exhibited the functional property in reducing the body fat formation in SD rats.
