運用專題本位學習於統整式STEM教學設計之研究-以高中夏令營隊為例

Implementing the Project-Based Learning Approach in an Integrative STEM Instructional Design: A Pilot Study from a Senior High School Summer Camp

摘要


本研究旨在將專題本位學習教學模式運用於STEM統整課程的教學設計,並評估其適切性。透過個案研究法,本研究探討一個為期四天,以設計與製作風帆機器人為專題的高中暑期夏令營隊,並分析教師與學生在該等課程情境裡的教學回饋與學習觀感以做為課程評估之依據。資料來源包括課室觀察、半結構式晤談與開放式問卷。而根據授課教師在實務專題、評鑑機制以及同儕交流等面向所提出之回饋建議以及參與學生的學習觀感,本研究結果認為以專題本位學習做為STEM統整課程的教學設計獲得教師與學生的正向回饋,證明其屬適切之教學設計。

The present study aims to implement the project-based learning approach (PjBL) in an integrative STEM instructional design and further to evaluate the rationality. A case study method was adopted to explore a 4-days senior high school summer camp which emphasize on designing and fabricating a sailboat robot. The data resources include classroom observation, semi-structure interviews, and open-ended questionnaire. Based on the positive feedback from the teacher and the students, the results reveal that PjBL is suitable for integrative STEM instructional design.
