The present study aims to implement the project-based learning approach (PjBL) in an integrative STEM instructional design and further to evaluate the rationality. A case study method was adopted to explore a 4-days senior high school summer camp which emphasize on designing and fabricating a sailboat robot. The data resources include classroom observation, semi-structure interviews, and open-ended questionnaire. Based on the positive feedback from the teacher and the students, the results reveal that PjBL is suitable for integrative STEM instructional design.
