行動方案導入工程教育全球學生論壇現況探討

The Research of the Global Student Forum for Engineering Education Implemented with Action Plan

摘要


工程教育為目前世界各國引以為中的重點教育之一,其內容涵蓋相當廣泛,涵蓋的生活的種種部分,只要與工程問題相關,皆為工程教育的範疇。而工程教育的重點在於基於基礎的工程理論,結合工程科技作為工具,加以解決工程相關問題,可謂之STEM的綜合應用教育。目前世界各國的工程教育推動皆有相關的學術團體主導,藉由辦理研討會、活動等方式,促進工程教育領域的發展。慢慢可發現,有部分的學術團體,如美國工程教育學會(ASEE)、國際工程教育聯盟(IFEES)將觸手向下延伸,拓展大學生對於工程教育相關議題的關注,結合相關學生團體組織如SPEED辦理工程教育全球學生論壇,更以鏈結世界工程教育論壇共同辦理,藉此吸引更多對於工程教育議題感興趣的學生投入會議一同參與交流。本研究透過參與觀察研究方式了解活動計畫導入工程教育全球學生論壇實施現況加以說明,其能以此作為國內推動工程教育向下扎根的借鏡。

Engineering education is one of the most important education in the world, which covers a wide range of categories covered by daily life. As long as the engineering problems are related to engineering education. The focus of engineering education is based on the basic engineering theory, combined with engineering and technology as a tool to solve the problems. It's can be described as the application of STEM education. At present, engineering education development in all countries around the world is led by academic community. The are promoting development of engineering education with international conference, academic activities, etc. It can be found that some academic groups, such as the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) and the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies, IFEES, will extend their influence to expand their about engineering education related issues in undergraduate education. They assisted to hold the Global Student Forum of Engineering Education with SPEED. It's also connect with the World Engineering Education Forum for promote the issues development and attract more students interested in engineering education issues. In this study, the participate observasion method is uded to investigate the implement of action plan in global student forum. The result of this study which can as a country to promote engineering education down roots Procedure.
