A Study of the Close Loop Kinematic Chain to Determine the Centrodes of the Planar Rigid-Body Movement Using in Human Knee Joint

並列摘要

Centrodes was one of the most efficient way to describe a planar rigid body motion. In this study, centrodes was used to describe the movement characteristics of human knees. Instead of taking sequential photographs of the motion of human knee joint to determine centrodes as former research did, a portable measuring device has been developed to record the motion data of the human knee joint in this paper. This portable device was a close loop six-bar kinematic chain consisting of three rotation-encoders with three degree-of-freedom. The centrodes was determined from the recorded motion data of the three encoders by using rigid-body displacement method. The determined centrodes was an important reference for the doctors to evaluate the knee joint of patient.
