The Study of Transparent Organic Light-Emitting Diodes with Two Side Emitting

並列摘要

In the paper, transparent and two side emitting organic light emitting diodes (TTSE-OLEDs) are studied. The research topics focus to optimize the cathode structures becoming transparent and conductive by using LiF/Al/Ag multilayers. The thicknesses of cathode metal layers (Al and Ag) were adjusted, respectively, in order to obtain both high transmittance and high electrical conductivity. In the experiment, it is found that LiF 0.8 nm/Al 1 nm/Ag 20 nm has good electron injection efficiency. Above the cathode, organic materials as capping layers are deposited to not only prevent Al metal oxidation effectively, but also prolong device lifetime. Also, the thickness of organic capping layer is adjusted to increase the top emitting luminance effectively for TTSE-OLEDs. At current density 80 mA/cm^2, the bottom emitting luminance achieves 4030 cd/m^2, and luminance efficiency achieves 5 cd/A; the top emitting luminance achieves 1450 cd/m^2, and luminance efficiency achieves 1.6 cd/A. The entire transmittance of the device achieves 50.3%.
