中港溪口社區推動濕地環境教育階段之研究

Promotion Stage of Environmental Education Program Linking Community at Jhonggang River Estuarine Wetlands in Taiwan

摘要


本研究於2011年間針對苗栗縣中港溪口濕地鄰近的學校和當地社區的環境教育實踐活動進行評估。本研究分析中港溪口濕地鄰近受輔導的2所學校和1個當地社區的環境教育實踐的狀況,分別在15個保育樣點培訓120位志工。環境教育訓練課程包括生態體驗營、種子教師培訓、研討會、室內訓練、野外訓練、成果發表等方法,生態調查項目包括鳥類、植物、魚類、底棲生物等;環境調查項目包括水質、底質等。經過30天的教育訓練後,本研究利用了生態分區概念及生物生態指標進行環境規劃,以培訓志工朝向環境教育典範社區的目標。研究結果顯示,建立標準作業程序至環境教育的教育訓練課程,對在地居民而言是有益的。

This paper reports on a regional evaluation project that investigated characteristics of environmental education (EE) program by schools and local community nearby Jhonggang River estuarine wetlands in 2011s. The paper surveyed of 2 schools and case studies of environmental education practice in the local communities. There are 120 peoples through the EE training in 15 conservation locations. These EE training programs including eco-camp, seed teacher training, seminars, indoor training, field training, and published. The monitoring project form this study indicate that both biotic (bird, butterfly, plant, fish, macrobenthos) and abiotic parameters (water quality and sediment). After 30 days of training, the effectiveness of this training was evaluated based on ecological indicators. In addition, the Ecological Zoning Plan (EZP) and Benthic Index of Biotic Integrity (BIBI) were used to evaluate environmental status. The results of this study clearly support the notion that the indicated that integrating standard operating procedures (SOP) into EE course was beneficial to residents. Therefore, the findings and implications of the study should be generalized to the extent that future groups of residents are similar to the participants.
