杜威終身教育思想的核心觀念及其對樂齡教育的啟示

The Core Concepts of John Dewey's Thought of Lifelong Education and Its Enlightenment on The Elderly Education

摘要


二十世紀的教育哲學思想家中,Dewey繼實用主義之後,發起實驗主義,更採取持續的學習觀念,認為可以解決人類在生活中疑難問題的才是知識,又說明個人的學習是繼續不斷地改造經驗的歷程,所以,教育就是使得個人生活繼續不斷改造的方法之一,亦是維持社會發展,促進社會進步的重要步驟,可見他的理念間接影響到進步主義及終身教育。故本研究即針對Dewey的哲學理念、教育核心觀念、Dewey教育功能等進行分析,並比較Dewey的核心思想對於終身教育之關係,探究結果發現Dewey的教育思想的脈動,及對於樂齡教育之啟示為「社會即學校」、「從做中學」、「經驗重組」、「科學驗證」等四種核心教育,與目前的樂齡教育有想同的趨勢,重視社會學習、生活教育、持續學習、從做中學、經驗學習等的模式,兩者皆重視對理論驗證,冀望確定思想的真實價值。

After the pragmatism of the 20th century, Dewey initiated experimentalism and adopted a continuous concept of learning. He believed that it is knowledge that can solve the difficult problems of human beings in life and that the individual's learning is continuously and continually reformed Therefore, education is one of the ways in which personal life can continue to be constantly transformed. It is also an important step in maintaining social development and promoting social progress. It is evident that his concept indirectly affects progressives and life-long education. Therefore, this study analyzes Dewey's philosophical concepts, core concepts of education, Dewey's educational functions and so on, and compares Dewey's core ideas to the relationship between lifelong education. The findings reveal that Dewey's pulsation of educational thoughts is not related to the current senior education Think the same trend, pay attention to social learning, life education, continuous learning, learning from doing secondary school, experience learning, etc. Both attach importance to the theoretical verification, hoping to determine the true value of thought.
