One third of a human life is sleeping, so having a good quality of sleep is very essential for one's daily life. Every human being has to have rest to recover from a whole day's exhaustion and stress from work. Nowadays for people who lives in a modern society like in Taiwan, the heavy burden of work stress often causes sleep shortage. Research from Taiwan Society of Sleep Medicine on epidemiology have found that there are around a quarter to one fifth of Taiwanese Adults experience sleeping disturbance, and many have relied heavily on long-term sleeping pills without a good understanding of the mechanics and side-effects of the medicine, hence it has been a big issue on this area.
