The purpose of this study was to investigate the learning adaptation of freshmen at the University of Technology. The participants included 529 freshmen from the 4-year technology university and 431 freshmen from the five-year junior college programs of 2018 school year. The survey was conducted online with TWAEA 2019 survey on the adaption of national college freshmen to studies, designed by Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association. The survey included the students' admission backgrounds, current situation of studying program, educational resources of the university, learning situations, self-assessment and an overall satisfaction of the aforementioned categories. The results of this study compared to those collected from all technology universities that have also conducted TWAEA 2019 survey, intending to explore the differences between this technology university and others. By examining the comparison, the data of the learning processes of the freshmen as well as the relevant policies and facilities of the university were offered for the future suggestion. In addition, the constructive suggestions regarding academics and administrations in all other technology universities were also provided, based on the results of this study.
