氯裂法試製四氯化碳及四氯乙烯

Preparation of Carbon Tetrachloride and Tetrachloroethane by Chlorinolysis Method

摘要


氯烴化合物及碳氫化合物在適當高溫下,和過量氯氣存在時,將起氯裂反應,產生四氯化碳及四氯乙烯等。本實驗係採用石英管及Pyrex玻璃管之四層套管總體積約為21. 之氯裂反應器,以1, 2-二氯乙烷蒸氣和過量之氯氣通入;起氯裂反應後之氣體,經中和、洗滌、乾燥及分餾得四氯化碳及四氯乙烯。試驗結果:在常壓下,1,2-二氯乙烷與超過理論量40%以上之氯氣,以每小時2克分子流量,通過700°C左右未裝觸媒之反應管,卽起氯裂反應,產品中四氯化碳含量達約44%,四氯乙烯達約30%,其餘部分為六氯乙烷及其他多氯乙烷。

Under suitable conditions, carbon tetrachloride and tetrachloroethane may be prepared by chlorinolysis of chlorohydrocarbons or hydrocarbons, An opaque quartz tube without packing was used as reactor in which chlorinolysis of 1, 2-dichloroethane was investigated. It was found that the best results were obtained with charging rate of 1, 2-dichloroethane at 2 mols per hour and an excess chlorine of more than 40% over theoretical, at a temperature around 700°C. Under these conditions, the products contained about 44% of carbon tetrachloride and 30% of tetrachloroethane.
