藉肯勇氏( Kenyon)合成法,由酜酸酐與四種叔醇(叔戊、己、庚、辛等醇),以三乙胺為溶媒,於溫度100 ±2°C,反應時間8 ~ 9小時下,合成四種鄰苯二甲酸叔烷基一酯。其收率(% by mol)分別為:叔戊基一酯83.2%;叔己基一酯82. 5%;叔庚基一酯88. 5%;叔辛基一酯83.5%。關於以上鄰苯二甲酸叔爐烷一酯之物性,尤其對其融點與所對應之鄰苯二甲酸正烷基一酯之融點,加以比較與討論。
Four tertiary alkyl hydrogen phthalates were synthesized by Kenyon method with 80% (by mol ) up yield from phthalic anhydride and corresponding tertiary alcohols in presence of triethyl amine as solvent. The reacting conditions were at 100±2°C and 8-9 hrs. The followings are the yield of these tertiary alkyl hydrogen phthalates: t-amyl hydrogen phthalate: 83.2% (by mol ) t-hexyl hydrogen phthalate: 82.5% (by mol ) t-heptyl hydrogen phthalate: 88.5% (by mol ) t-octyl hydrogen phthalate: 83.5% (by mol ) Physical properties of the above synthesized compounds were described, and especially their melting point was compared and discussed with respect to the melting point of corresponding normal alkyl hydrogen phthalates.
