The Solvent Effects on the Polar Addition Reaction of Iodine to Cyclohexene

摘要


本研究在暗處各種不同溶劑內,進行碘對環己烯之極性加成反應之動力學研究。由所得結果顯示,這反應乃為二次(second order)反應。在30°C碘及環己烯之濃度分別為0.05625M和0.0987M,其克分子數比為1比1.75時,於各劑內之反應速率常數k為:苯1.95×10^(-3),乙烯氯醇3.42×10^(-3),甲苯1.672×10^(-3),氯化苯種溶4.67×10^(-3),氯仿4.42×10^(-3),甲醇2.935×10^(-3),四氯化碳2.21×10^(-3),乙醇2.4×10^(-3),二氯乙烯5.75×10^(-3),正一丁醇0.906×10^(-3),二溴乙烯1.944×10^(-3)。由此可見在極化氯化物溶劑內之反應速率最快,分子量較小的醇類次之,烴類最小,且顯示出反應速率常數,並不與一般所說的介電常數成正比。僅在同類化合物之溶劑中,反應速率大致與其介電常數成正比。

The reaction rate of iodine addition to cyclohexene has been found to be of the second order in all the solvents studied. The reaction rate constant, at 30°C., with molar concn. 0.05625 M iodine and 0.0987 M cyclohexene (molar ratio 1: 1.75) in the various solvents, decreases in the order: polar organic halide solvent s, lower alcohols, and aromatic hydrocarbones.
