摘要


採用95%乙醇為溶劑,測定苯之紫外光吸收光譜。其結果與用異辛烷為溶劑的測定結果相同。在243.0, 248.5, 254.5及260.5mμ處,有明顯的尖峯。使用同一溶劑,測定苯在上述各波長的吸光係數,其結果顯示與Beer氏法則稍有偏差。由此等結果導出苯濃度之計算式,應用於合成試樣,結果平均誤差為0.6%。

The ultraviolet absorption spectra of benzene in 95% ethanol was determined. The result was the same as that reported by other workers in case of benzene in iso-octane. Peaks were found at wave lengths of 243.0, 248.5, 254.5 and 260.5mμ. By plotting the absorption coefficient versus absorbance a sloped line which showed some deviation from Beer's Law was obtained. From the absorption coefficient determined a formula relating the absorbance and the concentration of benzene was derived. The mean error of benzene concentration calculated with this formula was 0.6% when checked with the synthetic samples.
