摘要


本研究乃就具有不同氧化乙烯數之酉基酚聚氧化乙烯醚作為丙烯酸乙酯之乳化聚合之乳化劑以觀察其對所製乳膠安定性之影響。由實驗得知,在低濃度之乳化劑下不論機械安定性或化學安定性均以HLB為18.2者為最適之乳化劑。超出或低於18時安定性則下降。乳化劑增加時,機械安定性顯著提高。對氫氧化鈉之化學安定性則與乳化劑之濃度有直線之關係。而樹脂膜之耐水性却顯不出與HLB或濃度有其相關性。

The stability of polyethylacrylate emulsion prepared with nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether as emulsifier have been studied. At the low concentration of emulsifier, the mechanical and chemical stabilities indicate the maximum value at HLB 18.2. The stabilities decrease when the HLB deviates from 18. The mechanical stability is sufficiently improved as the concentration of emulsifier increased. The stability to NaOH solution is proportional to the concentration of emulsifier. The water resistance property of resulting emulsion film is no concern with HLB or concentration of emulsifier.
