相思樹根皮成分之研究
Studies on the Constituents of the Cortex Radicis of Acacia Confusa
摘要
從相思樹根皮分離出二種結晶性性，經證明為N-methyltrptamine及N, N-dimethyl-tryptamine；其含量為55.25%：44.75%。

Acacia confuse is widely used in Chinese medicine, as a muscle relaxant and agent for blood disorders. The cortex radicis tested contains two alkaloids: N-methytryptamune(55.25%), white needles, mp 87.5~89℃, chloride, mp178~181℃; N, N-dimethytryptamune(44.75%), white prisms, mp55.5~57℃. The latter is a hallucinogenic substance, resembling LSD-25 or mescaline, but less potent.
