摘要

從蒲瓜樹材部中用苯萃取而得到一種新化合物5－hydroxy-dehydro- iso-α- lapachone與一種已知化合物，2－（1－hydroxyethyl）－8－hydroxy-furano- 1, 4-naphthoquinone。蒲瓜樹（Crescentia cujete L.）^(1)是屬於紫威科植物之一，是美州落葉喬木。1943年本省引進栽培。關於該植物的成份研究尚未見到其報告由於採集時材料附著色素，為探討本植物是否含有prenyl naphthoquinone，作者就著手開始研究。

A new naphthoquinone, 5-hydroxy-dehydro-iso-α-lapachone, and a known compound including 2-(1'hydroxyethyl)-8-hydroxy-furano-1,4-naphthoquinone were isolated from the wood of Crescentia cujete.
