氣相層析/質譜儀因爲同時具有泛用及高選擇性,成爲環境分析最有用的工具,但由於它的高精密性以及較易受污染等特性,使得使用者常因不了解儀器構造、特性而無法發揮它的全部功能。文中對氣相層析/質譜儀的結構,各部份功能及在環境分析的品保/品管等都作説明,最後以氣相層析質譜儀分析環境中的多氯聯苯和戴奧辛爲例子做結論。
Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) with its dual universal and selective characteristic has been the most useful tool in environmental analysis. GC/MS is a high precision instrument and is apt to contamination. Hence users that are not familiar with the instrument generally can not exploit the GC/MS full capability. This report describes the function of each construction block of the GC/MS and the relevant QA/QC procedures used in environmental analysis. It concludes with examples of analyzing PCBs and dioxins in the environment using GC/MS.
