Modification of Poly Dimethyl Siloxane Membrane and its Physical Properties

摘要


本研究探討經改質之聚二甲基矽氣薄膜之氧氣滲透行為及其機織性質。首先合成一兩末端帶有乙烯基之聚二甲基矽氧預聚物,為了提高預聚物之氧氮選擇比及相容性,所以在預聚物中加入聚4-乙烯基吡啶(P(4-VP))行聚摻反應,另加入N-乙烯基吡咯啶酮(N-VP)、4-乙烯基吡啶(4-VP),行自由基聚合反應成改質之薄膜。N-VP或4-VP的加入改善了P(4-VP)與預聚物的相容性,而其機械性質與氧氮選擇比也同時提高;其中,相容性的改善以N-VP的加入改善的幅度較大,機械性質的援升也以N-VP的加入較佳,至於氧氮選擇比則以4-VP的加入提高的幅度較大且氧氣滲透率降低的幅度也較小。

In order to improve the O_2/N_2 permeation behavior and the mechanical properties of the silicone polymer, the modified polydimethylsiloxane membrane are developed. First, the polydimethylsiloxane prepolymer with the ends of the double bonds was synthesized. The membranes were prepared by the polymerization of the prepolymer with N-vinylpyrrolidone(N-VP) or 4-vinylpyridine(4-VP) in the presence of poly(4-vinyl)pyridine) (P(4-VP)) or not. The addition of the N-VP or 4-VP increases the compatibility of the P(4-VP) and the prepolymer, mechanical properties and O_2/N_2 selectivity ratio. The increases of the compatibility and the mechanical properties of membranes have large extent for the addition of N-VP than for the addition of 4-VP. But, the addition of 4-VP has higher O_2/N_2 selectivity ratio (a=2.75 ~ 4.9) and less decrease of the oxygen permeability rather than the addition of N-VP.
