多氯聯苯的分析化學

Analytical Chemistry of Polychlorinated Biphenyls

摘要


多氯聯笨(PCBs)的異常線定性質,以及不易被生物分解和可經由大氣傳擋的特性,皆是造成PCBs為無所不在的環境污染物的原因。尤其甚者,這些PCBs無論是經由意外,如:1968年日本的米糠油事件,1979年台灣中部的類似食用油中毒事件:抑是經由工作環境中的曝露累積:或是經由食物鏈的長年累積,終極結果是對人體健康造成嚴重影響,並且對病人的第二代子女的發育成長有不良的影響。本文即從化學分析觀點來探討如何取得人體中PCBs的濃度與新陳代謝資訊(將以較易取得的脂肪組織、人奶和血液樣品為主),將從PCBs的化學組成與特性和化學分析逐段討論,並以目前分析上所遭遇過的困難加以探討,提出未來可能的解決途徑。

Polycholrinated biphenyls (PCBs) are ubiquitous environmental pollutants due to their extreme stability, hard biodegradability, and atmospheric transportability. Futhermore, these compounds will eventually threat human health , this might come through accidents such as the oil poisoning in Japan (1969) and in Taiwan (1979), or through accumulation from the food chain. PCBs also pose ill-effects on the growth of the patients' second generation children. This report investigates means to determine PCBs' concentrations and related metabolisms from easily available samples such as human's fat tissue, milk, and serum. Various aspects of PCBs' chemical composition, characteristics, and chemical analysis are discussed. It is concluded with current difficulties and possible resolving means in the future.
