近年來,酵素從生物化學領域堂堂步入化學領域,並且蔚成風氣。酵素已成為有機合成中不可或缺的一份子,其應用在不對稱催化反應上更是方便有效人見人愛。應用酵素催化的不對稱反應主要有四大類。壹,酵素催化脂、酯、醯胺、及胼類的水解反應;貳,酵素催化脂、酯、醯胺、及胼類合成的醯化反應;參,酵素催化的氧化及還原反應;肆,其它種酵素催化之不對稱反應。這些酵素所催化之不對稱反應在實驗室級的應用上已皆臻健全,但在工業級的應用上仍需大家一起努力。
Recently, enzyme has played an important role in chemistry as well as biochemistry. Moreover, enzyme has become an important tool in organic synthesis. It is very convenient for a chemist to apply enzymes in asymmetric reactions. There are four major enzyme-catalyzed asymmetric reactions used in organic synthesis: 1, enzymecatalyzed hydrolyses of lipids, esters, amides, and peptides; 2, enzyme-catalyzed acylations to prepare lipids, esters, amides, and peptides; 3, enzyme-catalyzed oxidations and reductions; 4, other enzyme-catalyzed asymmetric reactions. Now, it is very common to apply enzyme-catalyzed asymmetric reactions in labortary, but not in industry. Therefore, to develop an efficient process to apply enzyme-catalyzed asymmetric reactions in industry becomes an important subject in this field in future.
