自1991年發現奈米碳管，其理論和實驗的研究，發展相當快速，各種性質不斷的被深入探討。本文從奈米碳管之種類、結構、特性、製程、純化、修飾方面對此新型之奈米材料做一回顧和論述，也提及奈米碳管在成分、能量貯存、場發射和原子力顯微鏡之不同應用。
