低放射性廢棄物整桶計測校正技術之應用

摘要


本研究目的在探討低放射性廢棄物加馬核種整桶計測技正技術,範圍包括水泥塊、柏油、泥土、金屬、固化水泥、沙石等不同密度與幾何形狀之常見廢棄物。自製標準桶密度範圍0.95~1.54 kg/L,使用銪-152標準射源套用殼形模式校正。以數種填充介質所得效率,可以計算不同介質密度樣品之計測效率間修正因子闢係,實際應用在研究機構或電場等核能設施日常運轉或拆除產生之廢棄物計測工作,對於放射性廢棄物分類、核能安全與環境保育有重要貢獻。

This paper describes the discussion of corrective and quantitative technology for whole drum gamma nuclides in low-level radwaste waste. It usually contains some kinds of density and geometry such as brick, asphalt, soil, metal, solidified cement and sand. We prepare several standard drum filled matrix density is 0.95 to 1.54 kg/L, and use Europtium-152 in it to fit the shell source corrective model. Using the different whole drum efficiency, we calculated the relationship between efficiency correcting factor and matrix densities. It is useful to count and analysis the radwaste of unknown density. The technology can be used to measure nuclide' activity in radwaste for research institutes and power plants. It is important to radwaste classification, nuclear safety and environmental conservation.
