固態基質中多溴聯苯醚萃取方法之新發展

Newly Developed Extraction Techniques of Polybrominated diphenyl ethers from Solid Matrices

摘要


由於溴化耐燃劑中以多溴聯苯醚(Polybrominated diphenyl ethers, PBDEs)使用最為廣泛,其具有高親脂性,在環境中多存在於底泥、生物檢體等固態樣品中。而傳統的索氏萃取法與液固萃取法其缺點會損耗大量溶劑、冗長實驗時間及不易自動化。這幾年漸漸以新發展的加壓溶液萃取法(Pressurized liquid extraction,PLE)與微波輔助萃取法(Microwave assisted extraction,MAE)取代之。本文僅就這兩種新發展的萃取法,應用在萃取於固態基質中的多溴聯苯醚作一簡介,提供有興趣者參考。

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are one of the most used brominated flame retardants. Due to their high hydrophobicity, PBDEs strongly adsorb to the soil, sediment and sludge, as well as bioaccumulate and persist in animal tissues. The newly developed pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) and microwave assisted extraction (MAE) technique haves been found to be the better alternatives to the conventional extraction methods (i.e., Soxhlet and liquid-solid extractions) for the extraction of PBDE from solid matrices because they offer great reductions in solvent use coupled with faster sample processing times and possible automation. Consequently, an effort is also made to compare these two techniques in this report.
