微米級單分佈聚苯乙烯螢光微珠的研究

摘要


生物檢測技術需具安定、特定與單一分佈粒徑性質的高分子微珠當篩檢與分離之用。本研究以分散聚合反應方式,製備微米級單一粒徑分佈的聚苯乙烯微珠,並探討影響微珠粒徑的因素。以含碳數越高的醇類溶劑,所製得的微珠粒徑亦隨之成長。利用各種物理吸附方式將螢光分子滲入微珠內部,其中施壓方式可獲得顯著的效果。並且以壓克力酸衍生物表面修飾之微米級聚苯乙烯微珠為基材,藉由螢光光譜的量測及抗體批覆的生化檢測實驗,驗證其可用於螢光檢測。

Bio-detection techniques require stable, specific and mono-dispersed polymeric microspheres to detect and separate targets of interest. The article mainly focuses on the synthesis of micrometer-size and mono-dispersed polystyrene microspheres by dispersion polymerization. Factors affecting the particle size will be investigated in detail. The particle size increases with the number of carbon in the alkahol, which is used as the solvent. One of the most promising methods to absorb dye molecule is exerting pressure on the PS microspheres. The properties of the dye-doped PS microspheres are verified and used in the field of bio-detection by antibody coating examination and fluorescent spectroscopy.
