創意微型化學實驗之設計研發與在技術校院科學通識教育上之應用研究

摘要


本文係利用一塑膠三通活栓及兩支塑膠注射筒等設計組合成一套多功能的「微型氣體製備裝置」,此套裝置可兼製備氫氣、氧氣、二氧化碳、乙炔及氯氣等五種氣體。整個製備過程簡易、快速、安全、有趣,且用藥少、污染低、可回收,可謂之具有環保理念的綠色實驗,除了在綠色化學實驗教學上有實質幫助之外,將其應用在通識科學課程之化學教學上,可提升通識科學教育之教與學之成效。

One new style and simple design of gas generator with plastic syringe which is described in this paper for science general education teaching at Institute of technology or university. The new design consists of one three-way plastic stopcock and two plastic syringes. This gas generator can be employed to prepare gases and stopped the reaction automatically, easily, safely and low pollution. Using this instrument can be generated five kinds of gases, such as hydrogen (H_2), oxygen (O_2), carbon dioxide (CO_2), chlorine (Cl_2) and acetylene (C_2H_2). With these simple microscale apparatus which can be carried out easily and demonstrated or played interestingly. The total amounts of chemicals used in above microscale green experiments are very small and can be recycled and reused easily. The amounts of chemicals consumed and waste produced which are reduced greatly in comparison with those in the traditional generation of gases. Without the difficulties and limitations in operation, the experiments can be done conveniently in a lab or in a classroom.
