Biomaterials and Their Application

摘要


生醫材料為體內或體外使用的醫學材料,其必須具備生物相容性及生物機能性,可暫時或長期取代組織或器官原本的功能。生醫材料可分為金屬、陶瓷、高分子及生物複合材料等,其中生物機能高分子多以生物可分解性材料,常見者如多醣類及蛋白質等天然高分子與酯基、醯胺基等基團的人工高分子為主,可廣泛應用在應用在藥物傳輸、組織工程與再生醫學領域。

Biomaterials used in the field of pharmaceutics and medicine in vivo or in vitro must be the prosperities of biocompatibility and bio-functional. It can be replaced the function from the original tissue or organ by temporary or long-term. Biomaterials can be divided into metals, ceramics, polymers and biological composite materials, in which the multi-functional polymer with biodegradable materials, such as those common polysaccharides and protein and other natural polymer with ester, amide, etc. The polymer-based artificial groups, can be widely used in applications in drug delivery, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
