親代巴克素曝露對胚胎發育的影響

摘要


巴克素是一種抑制吉貝素生合成的植物調節劑,藉以植物植株高度矮化、調節開花與水果結果以增加作物產量或調節產季之目的,因此巴克素為全世界最被廣用的農藥之一。本實驗室之前的研究指出巴克素會透過Ahr2訊號傳遞途徑導致斑馬魚胚胎消化系統發育異常。本研究將探討父方與母方之親代巴克素曝露,其毒性是否會藉由精子或卵子傳遞至胚胎而影響胚胎的發育。研究結果顯示斑馬魚成魚曝露於巴克素下並不影響其性腺指數,但會影響精子的形成。檢視親代巴克素曝露胚胎器官發育結果顯示巴克素經由精子或卵子繼而胚胎而影響胚胎發育。希望本研究結果可以提醒世人巴克素對環境生物毒害之影響。

Paclobutrazol (PBZ), a trazole-containing fungicide and plant growth retardant, has been widelyused for over 30 years to regulate plant growth and promote early fruit setting. Long-term usage of PBZ inagriculture and natural environments has resulted in residual PBZ in the soil and water. Chronic exposure towaterborne PBZ can cause various physiological effects in fish, including hepatic steatosis, antioxidantactivity, and disruption of spermatogenesis. Many chemical pollutants impairs the health of organisms which direct contact or intake it, but also impair their offspring though sperm or oocyte. In this study, we focus on studying theembryonic effects from parental exposure to PBZ. Our study reveals the parental zebrafih deliver PBZ toxin to their embryos.
