摘要


液晶感測系統的最大特色為其訊號以顏色的方式來呈現,在一般光線下即可用肉眼觀察,且使用者不需接受專業訓練,適合一般民眾做可攜式應用,近年來被視為極有發展潛力的感測系統。本文將介紹液晶感測系統基本機制及其設計方式,並整理此系統到目前的發展近況及應用範圍,最後會評估此系統的未來展望。液晶在光電產業上的應用已經十分成熟,也累積了許多有用的知識技術。希望藉此文吸引更多不同領域的科學家加入研究液晶感測系統,將不同的知識整合,以期有更好且快速的發展。

Liquid crystal sensor system has been recently considered as an emerging sensor system because its signal is colorful under ambient light, which allows untrained people for portable applications without the limitation of venue and instrumentation. In this article, we will introduce the development of liquid crystal sensor system, including the design of sensing platform, detectionprinciples and applicable targets. Based on this information, we will further evaluate the future prospects of this system and propose what kinds of techniques are needed to improve the performance of this system. We anticipate more researchers from multidisciplinaryfields to join this field to make better and sooner progress of the liquid crystal sensor system.
