大學教育領域教師對學術期刊同儕審查機制的態度

The University Teachers' Attitudes towards Peer Review Mechanism in Academic Journal in the Field of Education

摘要


大學教育領域教師對學術期刊投審稿過程所展現的同儕審查思考態度與滿意度,一方面受到學術期刊所建立的專業評閱機制及對同儕審查價值之影響,另一方面亦與其看待審查委員角色與審查意見內容的看法有關。本研究運用問卷調查探討大學教育領域教師對學術期刊同儕審查機制的思考意向,研究者自編問卷涵蓋「期刊審查機制」、「同儕審查價值」、「審查委員角色」、「審查意見助益」、「參與意願」、「滿意度」等構面,並運用偏最小平方法檢定問卷資料以考驗理論模型和假設路徑。研究結果指出大學教育領域教師重視學術期刊所建立的客觀公正審閱制度,認同同儕審查機制對投稿論文品質提升與促進發表引用之助益,肯定審查委員角色扮演與審查意見內容有助於學術對話和專業討論,願意參與同儕審查期刊的審查歷程並從中建立學術自信心。最後,研究者針對研究結果進行討論,並提出未來研究之建議。

The establishment of professional review mechanism and the value of peer in academic journal influenced university teachers in the field of education considering the perceptions about peer review and satisfactions in the process of submission and review papers. It was also articulated the thinking about the role of reviewers and review comments. This study employed questionnaire survey to explore the impact factors of university teachers' considerations about peer review in academic journal in the field of education. The questionnaire consisted of six factors, including journal review mechanism, the value of peer review, the role of reviewer, the usefulness of review comment, participation, and satisfaction. The sample data was analyzed through the partial least squares to testing the theoretical model and hypothetical paths. The results showed that university teachers' in the field of education pay attention to the objective and fair review system established by academic journals. They agreed with usefulness of the improvement of paper quality and publication through peer review mechanism, and presented the positively attitudes towards the academic dialogue and professional discussion by role-playing of reviewers and review comment. They also preferred participating in peer review journals and reviewing process to construct their academic self-confidence. Finally, the researcher discussed the results and conducted suggestions derived from this study.
