The purpose of this study was to explore the managing experience of women with urinary incontinence. A qualitative method was conducted. Ten participants were recruited by purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews recorded on audiotape following a semi-structured interview guide. Three themes were derived from the content analysis: (1) hiding it, (2) mastering it, and (3) accepting it. The findings not only provide fresh insights about managing experience of women with urinary incontinence but also sensitize nursing staff to provide individualized nursing care to women with urinary incontinence.
