適應概念的分析

摘要

個人歷經照護病患所遭逢適應過程中的無效或有效經驗，以及適應概念深切影響日常生活、臨床工作與各學科領域的事實，再者，學者間對於適應概念定義依舊相當紛歧，因此，實有必要針對「適應」概念再進行分析。本分析根據Walker與Avant(2005)的概念分析方法，提出『適應』概念的定義性特徵：（一）個體與內、外在環境互動中，遭受刺激，導致失去平衡。（二）個體持續調整生理、心理、社會、文化的功能與反應，個體與環境做互動。（三）有效控制刺激，回復平衡狀態。再舉出典型、邊緣、相關、相反案例為佐證，繼而提出概念前因後果與實證性參考指標，以及形成結論。

Although we frequently apply the adaptation concept in subjects, daily life and clinical settings, it has not been unanimously conceptualized. The paper was to adopt the methodology proposed by Walker and Avant (2005) to analyze the concept of adaptation and to define the attributes as follows: (1)One interact with the inner and outer circumstances, suffering stimuli, to result in a state of no-equilibrium (2) One continuously adjust the function of physiology, psychology, society and culture to react to the circumstances (3) One efficiently control the stimuli to reach a state of equilibrium. Then to set up model, borderline, related and contrary cases, to determine antecedentsconsequences, to outline empirical referents, and to form conclusions.
