市售化妝品中防腐劑及抗菌劑的調查分析

Investigation of preservatives and antimicrobials in commercially available cosmetics

摘要


本研究調查分析臺灣市售之化妝品,包含進口化妝品528件及國產化妝品200件,共計728件。結果發現進口化妝品中防腐劑使用排名的前三名依序為對羥基苯甲酸甲酯(methylparaben)、苯氧乙醇(phenoxyethanol)及苯甲酸/苯甲酸鈉(benzoic acid/sodium benzoate);國產化妝品中防腐劑使用排名的前三名依序甲基異口塞唑口林酮(methylisothiazolinone)、methylparaben及 phenoxyethanol。清潔類化妝品中防腐劑使用排名的前三名為methylisothiazolinone、benzoic acid/sodium benzoate及phenoxyethanol;而護膚類及彩妝類化妝品中防腐劑使用排名的前三名為皆為methylparaben、phenoxyethanol及對羥基苯甲酸丙酯(propylparaben)。本次調查728件市售化妝品中,使用的防腐劑及抗菌劑種類共有29種。其中17種為我國法規管理的防腐劑,8種為我國法規管理的抗菌劑,其餘4種未列入我國法規管理規範中。phenoxyethanol的使用頻率更高達43.7%,而目前使用尚未被我國法規管理的防腐劑及抗菌劑高達52.6%。期望調查研究結果可提供政府法規管理的參考,考慮能將高使用頻率卻未列入管理的防腐劑及抗菌劑納入管理規範,以保障消費者使用的安全,增進國人的健康。

This study investigated 728 commercially available cosmetics in Taiwan including 528 imported products and 200 domestic products. The result revealed that the frequency of use of preservatives in imported products is in the following order- methylparaben, phenoxyethanol and benzoic acid/sodium benzoate. On the other hand, the frequency of use of preservatives in domestic products is in the following order- methylisothiazolinone, methylparaben and phenoxyethanol. Methylisothiazolinone, benzoic acid/ sodium benzoate and phenoxyethanol are the 3 most frequently used preservatives in cleansing products. The frequency of use of preservatives in skin care and make-up products is methylparaben, phenoxyethanol and proylparaben in sequence. Twenty nine preservatives and antimicrobials which comprise 17 preservatives and 8 antimicobials, and 4 compounds that haven´t been administrated by TFDA yet, were found in 728 products. The frequency of phenoxyethanol used in cosmetics is up to 43.7 %. Totally, 52.6 % of use of preservatives and antimicrobials is not regulated by TFDA. We expect the results of the survey can help government to regulate the high frequency and unregulated preservatives and antimicrobials and to protect and improve customers´ safety and health.
