Wii Fit虛擬實境訓練對社區老人靜、動態平衡能力及前庭功能之成效

Effectiveness of Wii Fit Virtual Reality Training on Static, Dynamic Balance Ability and Vestibular Function of Geriatric Persons in the Community Care Center

摘要


研究問題與目的:本研究探討以Wii Fit遊戲訓練對社區關懷據點老人靜態、動態平衡能力及前庭功能的成效。研究方法:招募彰化縣社區關懷據點老人19人,隨機分成A、B組。A組老人在前6週時先進行每週一次的Wii Fit遊戲訓練,後6週為每週一次的體適能訓練;B組則為相反。採用張眼和閉眼之單腳站立、2.44公尺坐走測驗與富田踏步測試來探討此兩種活動訓練對社區老人在靜態、態動平衡及前庭功能的成效。研究結果以混合設計二因子重複測量變異數(Two-way mixed repeated measures ANOVA)分析A、 B組老人在不同週數時其張眼與閉眼的左右單腳站、2.44公尺坐走及富田踏步等測驗結果。研究結果顯示A、B組在未介入時、第6週與第12週時的張眼、閉眼左右單腳站、2.44M坐走測驗與富田踏步偏移等沒有呈現組間顯著差異,但兩組分別顯示組內差異。兩組活動介入第6週與第12週時在張眼左右單腳站、2.44公尺坐走測驗、富田踏步偏移等結果皆優於未介入時的表現。A組張眼右腳站與2.44公尺坐走測驗在第6週進步幅度優於第12週;B組張眼右左單腳站與富田踏步X、Y軸偏移在第12週進步幅度優於第6週。建議社區關懷據點使用Wii Fit遊戲訓練達6週以上可改善老人在靜態、動態平衡與前庭平衡功能。

Purpose: The purpose of the research is to investigate the effectiveness of Wii Fit virtual reality training on static balance ability, dynamic balance ability and vestibular function of elderly persons in the community care center. Method: Nineteen elderly persons were recruited and randomly assigned into Group A and B. Group A received a Wii Fit training program in the first six weeks and a fitness training program in the following six weeks. The training programs for Group B were just reversed. The static balance ability, dynamic balance ability, and vestibular function were examined and tested with opened and closed eye one leg standing, 2. 44-meter walking and Fukada stepping test. Two-way mixed repeated measures ANOVA were used to analyze the differences between time periods and between groups. Result: No significant differences of the one leg standing, 2. 44meter walking and Fukada stepping test between groups were noted at the baseline, the sixth week and the twelfth week. However, there was significant time effect. Both groups showed a significant improvement of the performance of one leg standing, 2.44-meter walking and Fukada stepping test at the sixth and twelfth week than at baseline. Group A had more significant improvement at twelfth than at sixth week on 2.44-meter walking and opened eye right leg standing tests. The Group B had improvement in opened eye one leg standing and Fukada stepping test at the twelfth week than at the sixth week. Six-week of the Wii Fit virtual reality training can improve the static balance ability, dynamic balance ability, and vestibular function of elderly persons in the community care center.
