研究問題與目的:檢視國內外文獻有關不同外勤消防人員背景對工作壓力、休閒需求與工作滿意的影響及三者關聯性的研究主題很少,並藉此深入了解消防工作環境中所存在的壓力,及如何透過適當的休閒活動安排與規劃,期能增進工作績效及工作滿意,有效紓解工作壓力,並思考可行之解決策略。本研究目的在瞭解不同外勤消防人員背景對工作壓力、休閒參與和工作滿意之影響。研究方法:以臺中市政府消防局外勤人員為研究對象,採分層隨機抽樣,以橫斷面問卷調查為研究方法,發出600份,回收491份,有效回收率86.44%。研究結果與建議:(1)外勤消防人員工作壓力偏高(M ± SD= 3.58 ± 0.58)、休閒參與程度偏低(M ± SD= 2.71 ± 0.51)、工作滿意稍高(M ± S D = 3.47 ± 0.51);(2)婚姻狀況、年資、月薪在工作壓力、休閒參與及工作滿意有顯著差異;(3)工作區域在工作滿意有顯著差異;(4)年齡在休閒參與、工作滿意有顯著差異;(5)工作壓力和休閒參與呈部分相關;(6)工作壓力和工作滿意呈顯著低度負相關;(7)休閒參與和工作滿意呈顯著低度正相關;(8)工作區域勤務少、休閒參與-「大眾媒體與家庭型」、「運動型」、工作壓力-「組織內部」可有效預測工作滿意。本研究建議減少非消防專業勤務、建立合理勤休制度及公開、公正升遷管道、安排減壓課程、增設休閒活動設施。
Research problem and purpose: Due to lack of literature regarding the effect of firefighters' background on job stress, leisure participation and job satisfaction, this study was to explore the effect of firefighters' background on job stress, leisure participation and job satisfaction and major variables relationships. Methods: The participants of this study were Taichung City's firefighters selected by stratified random sampling. Of the 600 questionnaires distributed, 491 were completed and returned, an effective response rate of 86.44%. Results and recommendations: (1) Firefighters' job stress was moderately high (M ± SD = 3.58 ± 0.58), Firefighters' leisure participation was moderately low (M ± SD = 2.71 ± 0.51), Firefighters' job satisfaction was moderately high (M ± SD = 3.47 ± 0.51). (2) Firefighters' marital status, seniority and average monthly salary were shown to be statistically significant to job stress, leisure participation, and job Satisfaction. (3) Job service area was shown to be statistically significant to job satisfaction. (4) Age was shown to be statistically significant to leisure participation, job satisfaction. (5) Job stress was partially related to leisure participation. (6) Job stress was low negative related to job satisfaction. (7) Leisure participation was low positive related to job satisfaction. (8) Low workload of Job service area, public media and family type and sport type of leisure participation and inside factors of the organization of job stress can significantly predict job satisfaction. This study offers to understand the effect of job stress, leisure participation on job satisfaction among Taichung City's firefighters; therefore, we suggest that reduce irrelevant service, build reasonable vacation system and open, fair promotion system, arrange pressure management program, and increase leisure activity facilities.
