The study aimed to examine the differences among university students of different backgrounds and their love attitude and sexual self-efficacy. Male students showed higher degree of recognition in overall love attitude than female students. Participants of 20 years old, 22 years old and older showed higher degree of recognition in overall love attitude than those of 19 and 21 years of age. Participants who had no religious belief showed higher degree of recognition in overall love attitude than those who did. In terms of "game of love" and "possession of love", those students who had conversations with their parents on sex issues showed higher degree of recognition than those who had not talked to their parents before. In terms of "lust for love", those who had made friends of opposite sex showed higher degree of recognition than those who did not. In terms of "overall love attitude", those who did not have normal relationship with their friends of opposite sex showed higher degree of recognition than those who did. Participants of 22-year-old showed higher degree of recognition in overall sexual self-efficacy than those of 21-year-old. Moreover. Those who had conversations with their parents about sex issues showed higher degree of recognition in self-efficacy than those who did not. Those who did not make friends of opposite sex showed higher degree of recognition in "preventive measures" than those who did. No predictive power was found between "erotic love" and overall dimensions of sexual self-efficacy. No predictive power was found between "game of love" and overall dimensions of sexual self-efficacy. There was significant predictive power among "friends with love" in love attitude and overall dimensions of sexual self-efficacy in "preventive measures" and "refusal of self-efficacy". There was significant predictive power among "reality of love" in love attitude and overall dimensions of sexual self-efficacy in "preventive measures" and "refusal of self-efficacy". There was significant predictive power among "possession of love" in love attitude and overall dimensions of sexual self-efficacy in "lust for love" and "refusal of self-efficacy". There was no significant relationship between students’ overall dimensions of love attitude and sexual self-efficacy. The conclusions of the study would offer suggestions for counseling and future research.
