摘要

對於身心處於獨特發展階段的青少女而言，未成年懷孕會引發許多負面的影響，青少女懷孕事件已成為世界各國政府公共衛生的重要議題。本文首先由認識青少年身心發展的特質談起，概述國內青少年性行為的情況，並藉由文獻探討青少女懷孕可能帶來的生理、心理及社會層面的衝擊，包括青少女本身健康的影響、生下新生兒體重過輕、學業中輟、經濟弱勢、角色調適的壓力及支持系統的欠缺等方面的衝擊，並進一步探究懷孕青少女生育選擇過程中影響其生育決定的因素。

Adolescent pregnancy exerts negative physiological and psychological influences on adolescent girls undergoing unique physical and mental development. Adolescent pregnancy is currently a critical public health concern for governments worldwide. This study introduces the physical and mental development characteristics of adolescents and describes the current sexual behavior among adolescents in Taiwan. A literature review is conducted to investigate the physiological, psychological, and social impacts of adolescent pregnancy, such as the health effects on the adolescent mothers, low birthweight, school dropouts, economic challenges, stress in role adjustment, and lack of support systems. Subsequently, the factors affecting the decision-making process of pregnant adolescents are explored.
