摘要

藥物濫用（drug abuse）是一個廣泛的概念，也是世界各國的重大問題。其泛指將非法藥物，以某種有害或道德錯誤的方式將其用於錯誤的目的。藥物濫用的危害對各年齡層的身心都影響甚鉅，造成學業、工作能力表現差、金錢透支、輟學及行為不良等現象，而且發生非預期懷孕、暴力犯罪及感染疾病的風險也較高（National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2014）。台灣藥物濫用的終身盛行率為1.29%，估計12至64歲年齡層的人口中約有23萬人曾藥物濫用（衛生福利部，2015）。有鑒於此，本文整理出相關資訊，並以Walker及Avant（2011）所提出之概念分析步驟進行「藥物濫用」分析，定義性特徵經歸納及整理後包括：（1）非法的藥物使用（毒品）；（2）具成癮性：可引起身體或心理症狀的渴望依賴；（3）已知使用藥物，會引起健康惡化、造成社會、工作、身體、心理等問題，仍有持續使用傾向。另一方面，運用不同的案例說明藥物濫用的概念，並提供參考指標與測量工具，期望藉此幫助相關領域人員，明確了解藥物濫用的概念並將之運用於相關研究或專業領域，進而達到預防教育與提升戒癮照護品質的目標，以維護個案健康。

Drug abuse is a broad concept and a major issue in countries around the world. It generally refers to the use of illicit drugs for wrong purposes in a harmful or morally wrong manner. The harm of drug abuse has a great impact on the physical and mental health of all ages, resulting in poor academic performance, poor work ability, money overdraft, dropout and misconduct, and the risk of unintended pregnancy, violent crimes and infectious diseases (National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2014). The lifetime prevalence of drug abuse in Taiwan is 1.29%, and it is estimated that about 230,000 people in the 12-64 years old have drug abuse (Ministry of Health and Welfare, 2015). In the view, this article collates relevant information and conducts a ＂drug abuse＂ analysis using the conceptual analysis steps proposed by Walker and Avant (2011). The definitional characteristics are summarized to include: (1) Illegal drug use; (2) Addiction: It can cause craving for physical or psychological symptoms; (3) It is known that the use of drugs can cause health deterioration, social, work, physical, psychological and other problems, and there is still a tendency to continue to use. And different cases are used to illustrate the concept of drug abuse, and reference indicators and measurement tools are provided. It is expected to help people in related fields to clearly understand the concept of drug abuse and apply it to relevant research or professional fields to prevent it. Education and the goal of improving the quality of addiction care to maintain the health of the case.
