Modern geography mainly researches the temporal and spatial development order of regional-characteristics, and the differentiaion of "earth's substance" and "earth's phenomena" on the epigeosphere. Starting with foods and dishes as earth's substance, with dietary culture as earth's phenomena, this paper explores the temporal and spatial development-order of the regional charcteristics and differentiation in Chinese dietary culture after studying the territorial different ion of diets, the forming of cuisine systems and comparative researches on China's four main cuisine systems. All of this will promote and guide the dissemination and management of the Chinese dietary business.
