^(123)I-ADAM 造影人腦血清素轉運器之再測信度研究

摘要


腦中化學物質血清素(serotonin)長久以來被認為在情緒調控上扮演重要的角色,過去的研究顯示,血清素在腦中的變化與眾多之精神疾病有密切的關係。血清素在腦中的濃度受到一種稱為「血清素轉運器」的蛋白質所調節,藥物具抑制此蛋白質作用者,在臨床上可被用於治療憂鬱症,稱之為選擇性血清素再吸收抑制劑(Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor,SSRI)。本研究主要的目的,是利用核能研究所與賓州大學合作開發的最新核醫單光子電腦斷層造影劑^(123)I-ADAM,造影腦中的血清素轉運器,針對^(123)I-ADAM 於正常人腦中血清素轉運器之再測信度分析評估,此項研究結果將有助於臨床醫師對於血清素轉運器與精神疾病病因學有進一步的了解。

Serotonin plays an important role in the regulations of human brain function. Many psychiatric disorders are also related to serotonin in human brain. The level of serotonin is regulated by serotonin transporter, which is a crucial protein in regulation of serotonin neurotransmission system. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) have been used as a popular antidepressant for more than two decades. The purpose of this study was going to use the newly developed SPECT tracer, ^(123)I-ADAM, imaging serotonin transporters in human brain and determined the test-retest reproducibility of ^(123)I-ADAM in healthy subject. This finding may help us to understand psychiatric disorders and further develop new strategy for the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
