《仲夏夜夢》：電影版莎劇的詮釋與改編

A Midsummer Night's Dream: the technique of expression and the modified version of William Shakespeare's play in film version

摘要

去年適逢莎士比亞450歲冥誕，國內外劇團不約而同製作莎劇為莎翁慶祝生日。搬演經典至今仍不失為劇場製作主題之一，影視領域也不例外。本文分析2005年英國廣播公司（BBC）製作、聯影企業股份有限公司2006年發行《仲夏夜之夢》電影版詮釋莎劇的承襲與革新，發現即使同是英國文化為基底的創作背景，創作者並未全盤接受莎翁原劇的情節發展。新的版本除了賦予當代環境氛圍，角色設定及事件安排的調整使《仲夏夜之夢》更加完整地呈現。

Last year just fell on the 450^(th) birthday of late William Shakespeare. Domestic and international theatrical troupes made Shakespeare's plays to celebrate his birthday coincidentally. Playing classics are still the main drama-making topics, including the film fields. This article is based on the technique of expression and the modified version of William Shakespeare's play ＂A Midsummer Night's Dream＂ which is made from BBC in 2005 and published by Development Company in 2006. We discover that even having the same England culture background, the film playwright doesn't follow the original scenario. The role setting and event arrangement of the modified version make the whole film more complete within the present circumstance.
