Last year just fell on the 450^(th) birthday of late William Shakespeare. Domestic and international theatrical troupes made Shakespeare's plays to celebrate his birthday coincidentally. Playing classics are still the main drama-making topics, including the film fields. This article is based on the technique of expression and the modified version of William Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" which is made from BBC in 2005 and published by Development Company in 2006. We discover that even having the same England culture background, the film playwright doesn't follow the original scenario. The role setting and event arrangement of the modified version make the whole film more complete within the present circumstance.
